Spectacular cliffs If you are visiting County Donegal, I highly recommend Sliabh Liag Boat Tours. Paddy is so knowledgeable and entertaining. He is also an EXCELLENT captain. These cliffs make the Cliffs of Moher look tiny. And, in fact, they are three times higher reaching almost 2000 feet in elevation. We are so glad we did this tour. One of the highlights of our two weeks in Ireland.

Sun, sea & Sliabh Liag We got one of the best weather days this summer to take this trip around Sliabh Liag cliffs in the Bounty boat with Brian as skipper and an amazing 22° temperature. Scenery was amazing and lots of informative facts about history and culture and looking at the coastline features which have been nicknamed by the locals. A thoroughly enjoyable day out and thanks also to Paddy for online communication and ease of booking. Would definitely recommend this 2hr trip.

Don't miss out Paddy and his crew are fantastic and what a boat trip. Was 6 years ago the last time we done the boat trip with Paddy and was like doing it for the first time again, an ever changing seascape. There a credit to Donegal tourism and all mariners on the island , not a nicer more down to earth honest bunch will you meet.

Last minute trip My sister and I just visited from America and we rented a car with no real plan for our trip. We showed up on Monday the 22nd just in time for the 14:00 tour and we were so grateful that the team accommodated us even though we didn’t have a reservation (I wouldn’t recommend that as all 4 boats seemed to be pretty full.) Our tour guide Kevin was knowledgeable, kind, humorous and willing to answer questions and I genuinely enjoyed just chatting with him. The view was beyond beautiful and we were able to see several types of jellyfish that were mesmerizing to watch. It was truly one of my favorite parts of our trip. I definitely plan on taking another boat tour when I come back again! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Exceptional Boat Trip! I can honesty say this is the best boat tour we have ever been on anywhere in the world! We booked the 18.00 fishing trip out of the harbour the boat is really well set up and comfortable. Our skipper Kevin made the trip he was such good fun and attentive and provided all the gear we needed to fish. This was especially great as it meant we didn't have to haul all our own gear with us. The rods and rigs were good quality and Kevin was immediately on hand to replace any lost lines or broken jigs as anyone who fishes will know this is a great help. We caught mackerel, pollock and wrasse and the scenery was just stunning. On the way home we had the most incredible encounter with a pod of dolphins that swam right next to the boat it had long been on my bucket list to see them so this just finished the trip off. I honestly can not recommend this boat company enough and they are incredible value for the service they provide. Thank you to Kevin for making the trip so amazing.

Papa’s 80th We had an excellent experience with Sliabh Liag Boat Trips. Captain Brian was knowledgeable and funny, making the trip both informative and enjoyable. The highlight was seeing dolphins up close. Highly recommended!

Sliab Laig Boat Tours It was a wonderful tour to see the highest accessible Sliab Laig Cliffs in Europe with Brian. He was so informative and a lovely man, easy to talk too.
The coast is incredible. We saw nesting birds, dolphins and had amazing views with nice people.

Sliabh Liag Boat Tours - wonderful memories I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this. What a wonderful way to see the awesome Sliabh Liag sea cliffs in Donegal, but you also get the chance to go swimming in a beautiful cove and hear all the local stories, which will stay with me for the longest time. Our skipper was so engaging and kind, letting the kids have a photo 'driving' the boat. DO NOT MISS THIS TRIP!

A must do trip! The whole trip was fantastic from start to finish. Paddy and his staff were so well informed and full of local knowledge. We had the opportunity to see Basking Sharks on the trip which was just phenomenal! We'll definitely be back.

You must do this trip! A stunning trip with magnificent views, great insights from Paddy, plus an opportunity to swim off the boat. Worth every penny.
Tip: book after you’ve checked the weather forecast. Thankfully we did.

Worth doing just as much as visiting the viewing point. Most people visiting Sliabh Liag will go to the viewing point. Maybe walk a little higher up the cliff. And that's well worth doing.

But if you want a different view of the cliffs, then the boat tour is worth going on. It's quite difficult to get the scale of the cliffs from above, but seeing it from below and seeing the cliffs tower over the boat or the dots that are people above, you'll appreciate the scale.

Reasonably priced, and using 12-person boats, so you're never fighting for a good view, if you have the time then I recommend it as well as the viewing platform.
